I’ve been an avid reader and writer since childhood, but I hit a massive slump after graduating college. Life got in the way, and reading can be expensive if you don’t have library access. Moving to a city and living within walking distance of a  glorious library has totally reignited my love for reading.

I’m also a professional baker, so I spend my days creaming butter and measuring flour. The funny thing about baking is that it can be a career and a hobby. Stressful day of baking? Well, more baking usually fixes it.

This blog is my way of combining all of my passions into one project. I’ll be developing recipes based on my current reads, sharing book recommendations, and whatever other book based ideas pop into my head.
